Ammonia smell in coop-first time owner

A while ago I posted about something going on at work.

for the last three months I've been covering a huge old school kitchen, as the kitchen manager was suspended . She has now been fired!!!. It went to industrial tribunal, and she lost, as she should have.

I cant say what she did, as you'd all puke, but she deserved the outcome, and will never get a job cooking for children again.

This is why I've been absent for a while, as the 30 plus hr weeks and the other self employed work i do has made me a dull girl!

I'm now off for 3 days(until Monday), as I am so tired i cannot think straight, and have got ....Sciatica..

How awful! Did she hate her job that much to do something, I am imagining as to what , so disgusting?

 

Enjoy your 3 days off and hope your sciatica gets better. I get it and its really horrible Have a long bath as it might help.

no, deliberate act against food safety/food hygeine regs. she could have given many kids food piosoning. it involved meat, and is beyond imagination!!

Good to hear that you won the case.

 

How dreadful that someone should behave like this and put children's lives at risk.

 

Let's hope she never gets employment in the catering industry again.
