Jossy
Poor Martha. She's been broody for a week now , she's been dunked in cold water slept on ice packs and have ive put bricks in the nest box, she snuggled up in between them! I made her a broody box tonight from an indoor rabbit hutch, upside down, but she went bananas knocked over her food and water and got really upset me as well, she is only young only had her for 3 weeks as a POL so don't want to stress her. So now I've put some plastic coated garden mesh in the nest box, she is now sitting on the perches in the cube. Hope this works. She has plucked her chest and bottom and looks scraggy, although nice red comb and wattles looks healthy eating and drinking, and had a good forage with the others in the garden. Fingers crossed this does the trick. I've checked for lice too and none present.
