foreveryoung
I'm quiet shocked, we have a hen thats gone broody, thats not the problem, I can deal with that, but shes got very aggressive, she nipped my 4 year old (i did laugh) then this morning I popped down to check them as its very windy down here and to evict her from the nest box the came up to one of the other girls and they started to fight then she tried to pick a fight with pumpkin who is in isolation to help feather growth with her two sisters, so it was an attempted s"Ooops, word censored!" through the bars.... is this normal, should I put her in a broody cage? (my last broody wasnt aggressive) would an old cat carrier work?? the ones which are caged?? Thank you

TAJ
My current broodies are quite friendly, but my Dorking last year - I had to use thick leather gloves and have my arms covered so she didn't draw blood - she certainly was an aggressive broody and was not easily moved from her nest!
