Toots Posted July 18, 2010 Share Posted July 18, 2010 about 4 months ago i put my name on the rehoming list for some ex batts, i was too late to get them that month so i thought "fine i will wait 4 weeks to get some no problem" then I was told that the farmer was going to keep them because they were still laying another month of wait. i didn't hear anything for 2 months and i admit go impatient so i went a bought 3 girls to take my flock to 5. that was a month ago... i forgot about getting any more as 5 was enough for me. my wife... unbeknown to me.. emailed them on wednesday to see what was going on.. i got a call 5 min later saying "didnt i get the email, i can get them on saturday!" luckily i have a WIR and a Cube and now 8 chickens!!! what i am going to do with all the eggs i have no idea but orion, bellatrix and betelgeuse now have half a WIR an eglu... and that scary sky thing!
