Dolly Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Being fed up with the neighbours cats stalking our girls (unsuccessfully so far I'm happy to say) and now using the girls dust bath area as a toilet , we've bought one of these ultrasonic cat deterrent devices. It's supposed to protect a 12 metre area by emitting a sound only cats can hear and so scare them off. Patricia W Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 My cat - and all the neighbourhood cats are TERRIFIED of the chickens! The chickens are the best cat scarer I've found. My cat used to pretend pounce on them when they were little and in the run, but as soon as they came out, the tables turned. Now she pretends they don't exist and gives them a very wide berth.
