I have had my cube for a year now and have never removed the roof. I just push it forward and pull it back, clean it and spray with poultry shield - no problems so far.

Ive had my cube for 18months and have never removed the roof I give it a good clean and jet wash it, but only with the hose pipe not a proper karcher thingy. i also use a plant sprayer to get the poultry shield into all the nooks and crannys. I would never let the roof thing put you off getting a cube. I also have a wooden house and i do find cleaning the cube considerably easier.

Whereabouts are you? Im sure there would be one of us close enough for you to visit so you can see for yourself before making such a large investment.

Another one who's never taken the roof off any of the cubes. It never crossed my mind that people might!
