Dizzy-Deb
Hi, can anyone advise where will be able to get some from when ready for them ? i live in Telford. Thanks xx
Carol U
Welcome to the forum Deb. One of the best breeders in the country is The Wernlas Collection, which is near Ludlow. They have just about every breed and their premises are immaculate. Also they are delightful people who are a joy to deal with. If you google them you'll get an idea of their range. Good luck. Pixie
Another one to try is Shropshire Poultry. Our speckledy Isabelle came from there - she's lovely
cluckynikki
I would recommend Shropshire Poultry as I got my two from there, and it was a delight to see them free ranging out in a field there. They were a picture of health and I have had no problems whatsoever with them in the 15 months I have had them.
Minnie&Moose
Another fan of the Wernlas Collection here! We got our last 2 from there, Mona, (black leghorn)and Maisie (Rhode Island Red). Both birds were in great condition and are a delight to handle.
MedusA
I'm a Wernlas fan too. I got my 2 Silkies from them and they are my favourites.
Space Chick
I am also a wernlas fan, I have 5 girls from there. However wernlas is pure breeds and there can be waiting lists for some breeds. For hybrids, I can strongly recommend Newland Poultry in Malvern, their chickens are really well cared for and I have 2 stunning green laying columbines from them. Hope this helps
