bennett
starting this thread on request but i cannot reccommend the Devonshire tradditional Breed centre enough. I have NEVER see such stunning birds, all in excellent condition with lots and lots of free ranging space. I think i would now rather drive the 2.5 hour journey to devon to get any future birds. They are all vaccinated , and he even frontlined my new girls before we left. I asked about what would happen if they should be come ill as we live so far away, and they were happy to give a full refund on photo graphic evidence! After the horrible service i have had from surrey poultry this is a welcome relief! I can honestly say that the chickens are happy there You dont feel you need to rescue them all, and not only are the chooks amazing but the food they serve is excellent too! They are pricey, but once i saw the chooks i would have happy to pay more! A big thank you to the omleteers who pointed me in the DTBC direction
sadietoo
Each time I visited my dd at Exeter I tried to think of an excuse to pop in and have a cuppa there...unfortunately I could never quite get the conversation round to chickens and so it didn't happen. ...I'm very encouraged by your experience though and have vowed to get there one day!! Space Chick
I have never been myself, but I know some friends that speak highly if them. Thanks for sharing
annettec
We are off on holiday and have realised we are only 30 miles away so may need to do a sneaky detour on the way somewhere else !
