kjovestani
Again, I'm new to all this and you guys are great at helping! One of my chickens is having bright almost egg yolk yellow poo! Ive been looking at pics on line and various forums suggest it may be worms. 1. I am now using verm-x to de-worm them. Is this effective or do I need to turn to flubenvet? 2. If the poo is all over my wood chip run, do I need to completely refresh the woodchip to stop them getting reinfected once it is cleared? 3. Anything else it could be? Once again guys, you're all brilliant and thanks in advance for your help!
joza2210
It could be worms ... But i look at some of my chicken poos and they look terrible but are classed as normal ... Have a look here : http://www.chat.allotment.org.uk/index.php?topic=17568.0 Also verm-x is a good wormer but i use diatom earth and mix it in with food now and again and that just keeps them from getting worms ... Hope this helps
Plum
Are you sure it's not ceacal poo. You can sprinkle StalosanF over the run and woodchip to kill any worm eggs
Charlottechicken
Yep, could be a nice caecal poo if it looks like a dollop of curry sauce
