flutterby
I expect the answer is yes. What I'm really asking is - if I'm successful with hatching, can I mix Bantams (when old enough) with hybrid hens? would size difference be a problem, I already have 3 ducks, 5 hybrids and 3 light Sussex together, without too many problems. Egluntyne
Yes. I used a Miss Pepperpot to hatch Pekin Eggs last year, and loaned a broody Fenton Blue to a friend to hatch Pekins too. They both did a fantastic job.

Roobaloo
Thanks But will they mix with the others ok?? that depends... Some people manage it and have no problem, others say you should never mix. If you do try, make sure intros are done slowly & carefully... and that there is plenty of room in the garden and in the run for them to escape in case they get bullied. Most importantly - have back up plan in place in case it goes wrong.
Space Chick
When introducing bantams to large fowl the intros do take longer in my experience, but with time and patience it is worth it My LF and Bantams live together in harmony (most of the time ) in my Walk in run and garden
Mollie333
Yes. .. I introduced Large fowl to Pekins, and then wyandotte bantam's to large fowl, pekins and even turkeys, without a problem.
flutterby
Hopefully I'll have some chicks to eventually integrate! When I do - if things dont go so well I'll have to set up another run..........just have to convince the DH that another cube/eglu would be a good investment! lol
