bronze
No you're fine to go to cows milk if thats what you want to do. I'm sorry I had read it as the hv was telling you thats what you must do. I still liek a glass of full fat milk so theres never any need to move off it again
BarbaraJ
I'm with Whoopsie! My HV really made me feel terrible as DS put on a pound a week. She insinuated he'd have to be taken to hospital to investigate if we were over feeding. We just fed him when he was hungry and as soon as he started to walk he became like a streak of lightning. He's still the same at the age of 8, a really tinny ribs Full fat milk and full fat everything in general is better for kids. Lots of the low fat yoghurts etc are laden with sugar/sweeteners. that made me laugh my son too put on a pound a week though he was on solids at 6 weeks recommended by the doctor as even hungry baby milk wouldn't satisfy him . He is now 21 and 6'3'' and at the gym all the time trying to get some shape as he hates that hes so skinny i was paranoid that he wouldn't have biscuits and sweets though and only fed fruit between meals
Chucky Mama
I remember being told that they should have full fat for some time too. Mine all went from breast to full fat milk at the age of 6-7 months. They never had powdered milk.
