Wyandotte Cockerel? (Photo)

because there are some very unscrupulous people around.

If you are not able to / prepared to keep him I would ask them for a replacement / money back (bearing in mind you know his fate! but this isn't your responsibility)

they might take him back / swap him no problem.

Managed to find a lovely home where he will be put with girls.

But you have to be pretty sad to sell it as a girl. My mum brought me him, and was gutted to find out that Alice, was infact a boy. They clearly knew the sex since they directly took my mum to there garden (100's of 'hens' running wild in a urban garden!) and insisted he culls, at the first sign of being cockerels, but i'm sure against the other pullets, he would of stood out, my mum doesn't look all over the chicken before she buys, she wasn't even sure of the breeding untill he said, she brought 'her' because it looked pretty! But how can people be so heartless :? . We went back to the house and asked if they knew it was a boy and if they would do a refund and they said rudely 'how big is his body- i'll only take him back if hes big and has meat, and i don't do refunds, i'd be doing you a favor'.. Some people.
