bevmatt
Hi I have just visited a friend and have compared her chicks (which she hatched from my eggs) to mine and they are much more advanced - we raise our birds in virtually identical manner and the only difference is the feed. She uses Fancy Feed Chick Crumb. Has anyone else tried it? I am seriously considering giving it a go - it is slightly more expensive (50p) than my current brand but seems to be doing a great job. Anyone tried it any comments? thanks Bev
AmberSky
yes i use fancy feed layers pellets, always found them good and the hens love them, also you somtimes get a 50p off voucher inside the bag to use against your next purchase. One feed to keep away from is Farmgate
chicken bark
I've just moved my growers onto Fancy Feed growers and they seem to like it. It has a smaller pellet size than the other growers pellets I have. It's too early to say whether it will help their development or not - and I've got no way of comparing of course. Darren Beaumont
I use fancy feeds layer pellets and also mixed corn. Always found it to be good quality. No complaints from my girls!
bevmatt
Thanks - did not know the pellets were smaller that would be even better for my bantams!
