Tricky
Still waiting I'm afraid although she seems back to normal so perhaps it was all just a dress rehearsal.Either that or she's secretly laid it in a good hiding place Keep watching

Bexibex
One of my ex-batts is doing the same thing but she has obviuosly laid before which is very confusing. We have had them five weeks now but so far she has laid two wind eggs and two soft shells yet sits in the nest box every day making all the right noises. I have been having very similar worries to you as she spends so long in there each time but otherwise seems fine. I'm wondering whether her problem is because she has been so overworked and may have come to the end of her egg laying days. Keep us informed of your progress! Roobaloo
My magpie, Toph laid two softies before she started...each was a few days apart, then nothing for a week! She then started laying regularly and for the first month, we had one double yolker each week!! Just keep an eye on her behaviour, she'll tell you if she's not right!
