stehaggan Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 Hi guys, went to Nottingham for hot air balloon ride bit it got cancelled due to bad weather but on our way home we saw some apple trees and picked a lot now I need to use them before I go in holiday tomorrow. Christian Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 Chop the apples and place into a pan, with enough water to just cover. Stew them down. Pass through a sieve and add 1lb of sugar to every pint of liquid. Return to a clean jam pan and boil until setting point is reached. Pot up into steralized jars Should keep for at least a year.
