runnerducklover Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 I just wondered if anyone knew if ducks grieve? as my sisters' Mrs Duck died yesterday, leaving Mr looking very sorry for himself and not wanting to eat Would it make sense to get another mate for him or would they not get on? thanks karen x I had this with Dilly duck when Ferdie duck had to go away due to him being violent and nasty to me and marking me so i sent him to leave with a friend on his farm, Dilly wasnt herself for days and wouldnt eat and was so sad i had to send her to be with Ferdie on the farm, all well now, but my advice would be to get a new mate asap because i do belive ducks grieve!
