Unsecure chicken perches

12 hubbards and 2 orp eggs were in the incy. Candling at day 10 showed 2 hubbards eggs needing binning. All others looked good on day 18 too.

So far I have....... 4 hubbards hatched, 3 pipping and the others just laying about! It is only day 20 though - I think the hubbards were just keen to get out.

My last lot are hatching now too. Its day 19 for me, they are banties, but they normally goto day 21 Good luck with your lot

Well this morning I awoke to 6 hubbards chicks and 1 blue splash(?) orp. The other orp egg is pipping as are two more hubbards eggs. The remaining two don't appear to be doing much. It is only day 21 though - I won't give up all hope until day 23!
