However 6 small tortoiseshell butterflies have decided tp hibernate in the top most corner of the ceiling right above the stairs 16' in fact. So I'm just going to leave the painting until next April when they'll fly off and lay their eggs on the nasty nettles. We're rather fond of butterflies, well maybe not the cabbage white......... I don't mind painting, but painting the stairs needs 2 ladders, 2 scaffold boards and a large step ladder balanced on the boards.
