Chicken boarders

Probably a daft question but my two ex batts who are two and a half have been laying huge eggs over the last 2 weeks. Is this anything to do with them coming to the end of their laying days, we've had a few softies and some wrinkly eggs too.

My chooks are about 18 months old and we get huge eggs sometimes We also get a few very hard shelled wrinkly ones and always have done. Someone told me they lay the wrinkly or funny shaped ones when they've had a fright or something similar - not sure how true this is. I'm not sure which chook lays them or if they all do but we still eat them
