Shelley
I'm impressed by the chatter on Garvo feeds. Despite the toughest of eating regimes mine continue to refuse to eat pellets. Are they likely to be turned onto Garvo pellets? Where's the cheapest place to get egg boxes from? The trouble with asking neighbours is they want eggs in return! Mollie333
No idea on the food question, but eBay do good plain or colourful egg boxes, some are well cheaper than others so look around before buying.
Redwing
I agree. Ebay for egg boxes They may well eat the Garvo, its less dry and dusty than most pellets Dont allow them to manipulate you, if its more convenient to feed them pellets then do it - they will honestly not starve themselves
Chucky1
Yep what Redwing said - its easy to forget sometimes that they live with you not the other way round We found Flyte so Fancy egg boxes are sturdy, take XL eggs and come in a rather unusual pink - though they're probably not the cheapest. AmberSky
When i first got chickens about 2 years ago i bought some egg boxes from ebay, they are cheaper the more you buy. but now i sell a couple of dozen eggs a week i ask whoever i sell them to to save me any egg boxes they have and now i have plenty, and one old man brings me his same 2 egg boxes to be filled every now and then.
