Janty
Is it a cross between an buff columbian and a silver partridge. I bought two of those today. Yours looks more partridgy than mine.
cooperbro
I know that cock was white and hen was either white or black. I know these pairings in the past have also produced a cuckoo hen. Goodness knows what genes these are carrying, the parents belong to a friend of mine. Out of 6 eggs i got from him, 3 were fertile and all hens. The sisters were just solid white. cooperbro
Your new Pekins look lovely, we used to live in Kessingland not far from you. Your theory might be right, they may have grandparents etc with these genes i know white is a dominant colour that can mask others (if its not ressessive white, lol). cooperbro
Incedently i know you can get that sort of colouring (your new chooks) from Millefleur cock x Buff hen. And Millefleur cock with Partridge hen. I love genetics!!!!!!!!
