I'm a Rainbow Leader ( retired!) and Brownie Leader..and my Division was at a local college celebrating Vision, our finale...I should have been on holiday in Norfolk, having our own celebrations on the beach. We had it all planned...bucket BBQ's candles, tealights to make the trefoil..... All the girls in the family are in Guiding, and the old man is an unofficial helper ( puts up the gazebo's, helps run stalls etc). But my poor little brownie daughter had a massive asthma style attck on sunday night, resulting in a rush to A&E and the diagnosis of allergy to mould spores ( our rented house was damp !) so we had to come home ....and we now have a flu like virus. hoorah! :(

SO we celebrated Vision on the sofa in our PJ's watchng it on the Community Channel, and via Facebook, and anothe guiders forum.....all my other Guier friends who couldn't get to an event.....

It's been a great year for Guiding, and I hope it continues to embrace the 21st Century.....it's sometimes hard dragging it out of the Very Early 20th Century!!!
