Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

A quick tip in case you want to stop your chickens venturing into your kitchen (but don't know why you would want to prevent them from doing this!!). You don't need any kind of stair gate, MDF boarding or in fact any kind of barrier. What you need to do is to go to your local nursery and purchase a NEW kitchen mat!!

 

Our girls do not want to go anywhere near this new thing that has suddenly appeared in the kitchen. BUT as soon as this strange thing was removed, they were soon tucked up in their favourite corner of the kitchen!!
