Brooster
Sorry - I'm sure the answer to this one is already posted somewhere on Forum but I can't find it. After Pearl was so poorly with worm impaction we were recommended to do a second dosing of Flubenvet. However, the vet said after 4 weeks, the info leaflet with the drug says after 3 weeks. Neither say whether this is from the START of the previous 7 day treatment, or the FINISH. I am presuming it is three weeks from finishing first treatment or four weeks from starting - then they are both saying the same thing, but can anyone confirm this for me?? ( Pearl has had slightly watery poos for the last two days which is how it all started last time, so I'm desperate to avoid repeating the traumas we went through previously. She seems well but hasn't laid again since her illness, and often has lots of undigested grass and grain in her poo so don't think her gut is back in good working order still). Thanks for any advice
Egluntyne
I'd do it from the finish, if it were me. It is quite difficult to overdose with Flubenvet, so I wouldn't worry too much.
chicken bark
I think the timescales you are presuming makes sense to me. Sorry she is so poorly. I hope this second dose of Flubenvet helps her out.
The Dogmother
I'd also follow through by adding Avipro to the water to maintain some healthy gut bacteria.
