Jules.
I've just been looking for info on Rhode Island Red cockerels & came across this site http://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Eglus-Plastic-Coops-c7.aspx The cube is probably the same price in the States as it is here, but the eglu & the go seem to be much cheaper Edit- the cost of adding hens to the package is
Lewis
That $295 for the Go is without a run I think their shipping can be a few $100 too (maybe esp on cubes) and it can still take a long time, depending on when Omlet are sending them over and on customs... MammaT
Just looked on Facebook at Omlet offers and there's one for 30% off a classic (not sure if it means with'/without run) for USA only. Did my best with converting and it seems to be cheaper than here but maybe not with delivery costs. There's also the wooden part-exchange offer for us Brits and also you can part-exchange your classic for £200 off a cube - but most classics fetch more than that on ebay at the moment anyway. Swings and roundabouts I suppose as you don't have to bother with the ebay bit yourself! I'm desperate for a cube but, like many others I suspect, just can't afford it. Having only joined this site over the summer I wonder if anyone could tell me if there have been similar offers and discounts, like those on the runs etc, in previous years or could this be a result of the fairly recent price hike? Does anyone know if it adversely affected sales?

Does anyone know if it adversely affected sales? As far as I'm aware its a first ... there have been free delivery on a few things, like when the Go was first released. Presume it is because they're feeling the credit crunch too.
