My sister is involved in teaching Tai Chi to adults at a local community centre in Manchester - it is one of the few in her area that fights on to provide hobby-type classes and ignores the ridiculous government bureacracy and academic teaching qualification requirements that have casued loads of evening classes to fold (most old ladies who want to teach crochet once a week to other old ladies rarely have a PGCE!) There is always a fight to find funding. The centre has won through to be one of three finalists in a Royal Bank of Scotland community funding bid in her area, and we need as many votes as possible before November 26th to win £3,000 of funding for new radiators.
