No refuse collection in almost two weeks.

Recommended Posts

I got really brave today and took two bags of household rubbish out of the bin and took it to the land fill tip today due to the bin men Not emptying our bins in over two weeks. :x

It wiffed a bit as our bins only get emptied every two weeks so our bins have been out there for almost 4 weeks, even the paper and plastics are over flowing.......called the council.....all the drivers are out gritting the roads at night to keep the motorways open, and the bins can wait !

Not when you only have the one bin..emptied 2 wkly and when they do collect won't take black bags or empty over filled bins.

Makes me mad as my daughter is 5 miles away in another district council close to the motorways and her bins have been emptied every week.

We've had no bin collections now for 2 weeks and only one postal delivery in that time too, but the road down to here is pretty lethal so I'm not surprised. We are on a small backroad and are a long way down the list of gritting or snowplough routes.

I think I'd rather have the roads cleared than the bins emptied if that's the option!

Refuse collection due again tomorrow......but the gritters are out on the roads so i am not holding my breath.

A neighbour said earlier that if they do a recycle pick up she will blow a fuse on the phone . She has 4 children and is desperate for the bins to be emptied.
