Eggasperated
My OH has been trying to get to my supplier to get some more Garvo for the past week but unfortunately the weather in Fife and Edinburgh has made it impossible. Today I finally ran out altogether so he made an emergency trip to Pets at Home to get some Dodson and Horrell layers pellets - my question is do you think my girls will notice as I don't want to be in the dog house all Christmas . I have tried to disguise it with poultry spice and cod liver oil but I suspect they will know . Also I bought a bag of Dodson and Horrell mixed corn as a bribe for them but when I tipped some out a black mouldy lump fell out even tho it's well in date - so that's going back. Think my girls might not be getting me a Christmas present this year
Ain't Nobody Here
I'm sure they'll not notice or they'll get so hungry they won't care . Must say, I'm so glad I stocked up on pellets the week before the snow arrived .
Eggasperated
I'm sure they'll not notice or they'll get so hungry they won't care . . As long as they're not like my cats who will quite happily starve to death to punish me if I happen to try and give them the 'wrong' variety of cat food
migsy
They will eat it eventually. I'm also hoping that my hens will eat from the green grub eventually as they have emptied the pink one whilst the green one is still full. I'll hold out until lunchtime tomorrow. Eggasperated
Think my girls have given the Dodson and Horrells 5 out of 10, they wouldn't eat it to start with but I saw them tucking in after a while and at the end of the day they had eaten a fair bit, although not as much as they normally eat of the Garvo. Perhaps i'll be ok for a Christmas present from them after all
