Eggasperated
I have posted about Alices grumpiness at the moment (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=72737# ) And I thought I had read somewhere that corn can make them more aggressive - is that true? As i've just started giving them corn again now it's been so cold - or is it just a fallacy?
Plum
Mine are aggressive when eating it and will kill for those little bits of yellow. It does give them energy and is said to be 'heating' so guess it would change mood
Chucky1
With ours its like giving the kids coke - they definately get a bit of a rush from it
Redwing
My lot are having a diet with a higher percentage of corn at the moment (and by that I mean pure corn not the 'mixed corn' you can get thats mostly wheat) I havent seen any difference in them at all Corn may or may not be 'heating' but its most certainly fattening - in the cold we have had recently it is no bad thing though - it takes them longer to digest so keeps them warmer Just take it steady - fat doesnt mean fit! I'm now using the Garvo mixed corn special, they must like it as they were shouting at me from the entrance to their area for about an hour yesterday until I turned up with the goodies .
