ali-s
I'm hoping to make a few jars of Marmalade this weekend in my new Jam maker The recipe uses Mamade tinned Oranges and it says to put wax discs on the marmalade and seal. I couldn't find any discs locally so I have some coming from the Jam Jar Shop (along with some other things ). Are the discs essential ? The jars I am using are new and have lids. I really want to get this right first time as the Marmalade needs to be better than the stuff OH gets really cheap from the factory shop where he works. Blackrocksrock
Local paper shop has jam jar discs wax and cellophane and elastic bands to tie the tops in a pack - most of these shops do - try your local paper shop come everything shop! It is best to use them but not essential
