I'm in the process of setting up my classic and run in the garden as I'm hoping to get some ex batts soon. I plan to keep the batts isolated from my girls for a few weeks whilst they hopefully get stronger and healthy. :?: What would be the best distance between the two runs and would it help intergration later on if the two flocks could see each other at the start.

Just to mention that ex batts are usually in reasonable health, but are often really unfit. They will have been given everything to prevent disease in those cramped environments. However, 'sneezing distance' is probably not a bad idea, and well done for taking on batts. I loved watching mine stretching out their scraggy wings in the sunshine when we got them.
