They weren't too impressed with the mud or the wind at first but soon settled down for a scratch around and tea al fresco. No escapees thankgoodness, thanks to the Omlet netting. Sageandonion Posted January 15, 2011 Author Share Posted January 15, 2011 Thank you both CHM - I can pick up Funky Chicken fairly easily, Peckers is getting bolder, I managed to grab her yesterday, can't get hold of aloof Luna at all. Really pleased with the Omlet netting, OH secured it with tent pegs today, it's not electrified as we'll only let them out when one of us is around. The kids were on hen and bunny watch in the garden today, whilst playing on the trampoline. how are your little ladies doing, have you been baking with the eggs yet ? But I'm feeling a little guilty thinking about spending more money yet again. We'll be picking up our three for the first time tomorrow, we need to check on Snowy anyway as she's sneezing. The first egg was fried (and shared ), the next two were scrambled, the fourth my mother had boiled. I now have four on my skelter ( ). I'm meant to be saving four for my cousin but the is out first so might have it poached for tomorrow's breakfast. You just wait til you get an egg - you will be so excited! The tent pegs were 1/2 price in Millets, 20 pegs for £4, not sure whether that's good or bad but it's a drop in the ocean compared to what we've spent already . Think our dog was a cheaper purchase all round!! Congratulations on your egg count that's very impressive, think you should save the for yourself.
