chicksaloud
Hi out there fellow chicken fanciers. I have a burning question...........Have any of you tried Meratol a new without perscription diet pill. I have just started them yesterday and wondered if anyone one had any experience of them. I don't fully trust reviews on dieting websites because they may or may not be real. I am a nurse and usually wouldn't try stuff like this but recent advances in Diabetic treatments(I specialize) do similar stuff to the claims this company make. Apparently I can expect 3-5lbs aweek loss. Sounds great. I will keep posting my progress. So far no side effects.
sadietoo
No experience of diet pills, but food combining works for me, specifically the Harcombe Diet...there is a thread running on All Things Nice but I'm not clever enough to post a link.....interestingly the diet is based on the premise that sugar in any of its processed forms is to be avoided at all costs, and is indeed the Devil's Work...I'm guessing that must tie in with Diabetes in some way because we are seeing such a huge rise in the disease at the moment.. quickcluck
Well you must keep us all posted. And best of luck to you I had a hypo gastric band recently, and am not doing too badly
Egluntyne
I'd also recommend the Harcombe Diet. I lost 2 1/2 stone effortlessly with this without ingesting dubious substances and feel great.
JillM
I might give that a try. I went for hypnotherapy before Christmas, but I'm my own worst enemy (and evening is snack time). Even so I've still managed to lose 10lbs in about 6 weeks though,so maybe I should stop beating myself up over the odd bar of chocolate. JillM
Here is the link http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=69250 But it is probably easier to find it in this ' All Things Nice' section
