Smoked Garlic

I bought a wondeful smoked garlic at the Henley Food Fastival yesterday,but am not sure what would be the best way to use it :?

It smells fantastic.....we all keep going into the kitchen & sniffing it,so I think it will have a strong smokey flavour too.

I thought about anything I use smoked paprika in (like a chicken casserole I make),but am stuck for more ideas.

I know you lot will have some thoughts :P8)

We buy it at Stratford market - it doesn't taste as strong as it smells but it is wonderful all the same.


We sometimes cut the tops off, drizzle with olive oil and roast it whole until soft. Squidge each clove and use it as pate with fresh crusty bread.


....or, it makes a wonderful tomato sauce for pasta.
