HENthusiastic
HI. Ive got 3 girls and one boy. 3 days ago a couple of the girls started making strange noises! Milly seems to be puffing herself up a bit whilst she does the noice. Everytime I've been out to see them, they are making this noise. I was worried she might be ill, but then I've noticed its definitely at least two of them doing it. I don't know how to begin to describe it. Its a bit like the sound you get from blowing in those old fashioned kids toys. I wondered whether this is something they do in spring? some kind of mating call perhaps? I didn't have them last spring. Any ideas anybody?

I've recently got quail myself, I've noticed mine make squeeking noises when they are affraid of something and sort of communicate with each other to see whos going to go investigate! Once they've settled down they stop making the noises
