speedqueen
We have just noticed that one of my girls has a bit of beak trouble.... i think she is, supposed to be, a white rock (although not a Genuine i dont think) around 8 months old and has now got a brown tip to her beak. I assumed it was from scrabbling around in the mud, but on further inspection it looks to be 'peeling'? right at the tip Is this normal or should i get her checked out? chickenNutter
Not heard of that one, is the whole tip damaged or is it it peeling? Hopefully someone who knows about these things will be along soon.
chick wiggle
A couple of mine have beak problems, one has a little bit of the top of her beak missing completely another has a 'crossed' beak where the top and bottom cross over each other, neither of them have any trouble eating or drinking and are doing fine. Could you possibly get a photo of it on?
Egluntyne
As long as she is eating and drinking happily, and there are no obvious signs of injury or infection, I'd forget about it.
