AmandaR Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 (edited) I can hardly believe it. Today Psycho laid an egg for the first time and it was HUGE! She had taken us all by surprise as she hadn't started to squat or anything so we thought it would be a while yet before she produced anything. The kids were so excited to show Dh the egg when he got home from work and we decided to crack it open into a bowl (to use later) so we could see what it was like...and it was a DOUBLE YOLKER! What a clever chook to give a double yolker first time I can't help but feel it was a Thank You gift for giving her extra treats and hugs yesterday, to give her a break from the bullying Shadow chook.
