Reikiranf
Has anyone tried out their Cobb yet? I'm very tempted to buy one.

Snowy
Yes! We took it camping last weekend to try it out, but forgot the regulator for the regular gas stove, so had to rely on the cobb for every meal! Sirloin steaks the first night - very nice, but we used it more as an oven than a BBQ and didn't get them browned properly. We started off some new potatoes on the tiny calor gas stove which was taking ages, so transferred them to the frying pan and boiled them in there on the Cobb, once done, swapped to the non stick plate and did the steaks. Better try next morning when we did bacon on it just using the grill plate. Did it beautifully. That evening we did a roast chicken - I forgot all the 'extras' (oil, pepper, garlic etc ) so it was very plain, but delicious and succulent (added some water to the moat). Added another cobblestone and fried up the leftover new potatoes to go with it (along with some salad). Fried eggs and bacon on it on the final morning. Thre is a definite knack to getting the right cooking plate in the right place to get the right amount of heat, but it wasn't too complicated. OH has a joint of pork out of the freezer and if the weather stays like this, is planning on trying a whole roast dinner on it tomorrow!
