:P No DON'T panic :wink: . Was at the adopted flock this morning and mentioned the weird eggs produced of late. The wind eggs happen for no good reason, and usually are a one off. The blood (if that was what it was) should also be a rare occurence, and due to a small bleed on the way down and out. :wink: . I should imagine if the blood covered egg was travelling a bit quicker, it may have been more speckled ( as I have had eggs speckled with blood before). :? .

 

Nicola ... well done Babs ..... Ginger too went off lay, and then laid again after a v.long time. Hope she continues and lays perfect little eggs that are formed properly .. Having said that the small egg you have looks like a wind egg too. :shock::wink:
