I have a few questions, I know there is a huge post already on them but i would need to trawl all the posts on it so hoping someone can answer a couple of questions for me

i already have a sony ereader that i love but it took a dive onto my quarry tiled floor and the on/off button flew off and i have to use a paper clip so decided to treat myself to a kindle now for the questions:

1.Do they take memory cards or are all the books stored on the reader

2. what files are the books in, as i have a lot of epub and few pdf already

3. i have heard problems with the unlit kindle cases, can anyone recommend a sleeve type case in an attractive pattern, the ones i have seen were a big cheap looking. I have ordered one of these:

I'm afraid I can't comment on the type of files you use as I am still learning myself. I downloaded some books from the library and I'm still trying to work out how to get them onto my Kindle!

Mine is on the study windowsill still in its box waiting for Monday when I'm allowed to have it. I'm so excited.

 

I'm a bit worried as I said to hubby that I thought I'd need to order a cover with the light re Cinnamon's problem from the other thread. He started talking to me about not needing to order one and then mentioned had I seen the designer ones? So am worried I might have a problem waiting to happen. I hope not.
