Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Just a quick question - does anybody know if this is the same as layers mash? (I'm guessing it probably is). I'm thinking of switching my girls from the ex batts crumb as it's getting seriously expensive. I prefer mash to pellets as it keeps them occupied for longer but local feed store only keeps Farmgate in stock. If the meal is the same as mash, I'll give this a go and see how the girls get on.

I've just Googled 'layers meal' and 'layers mash' and the images look much the same to me.

Yes, they are the same ... I don't know why they call it different though . btw, I get the smallholders layers pellets

I used to use this but my local supplier started selling pellets only and I would have had to have ordered it which required to much forward planning. Most of it ended up on the floor so I switched to pellets.
