Marigold chicken, posh not ex-batt, is still laying fine every day.

 

Any thoughts?

3 weeks ago mine went from 4-5 eggs a day to 1 a day, I wormed them and cut right down on the treats but still only getting 2 eggs on a good day.They are all eating well, I just put it down to them being ex batts.

They may have retired, but it does seem unusual that they would all have stopped at once

 

When did you last worm them and what with?

 

Have you consider that you could have an egg eater?

They were last wormed in September with the one that is recommended, can't remember the name and can do that again. I don't think we have an egg eater as why would they leave Marigolds untouched every day? There is no sign, just Marigolds lone egg sitting in the next box every day.
