johnandkymberley
Hi all, i use fresh garlic (peeled) in the hens superglug, i usually put in a clove and a half, does anyone know if this is too much or too little? my hens love the garlicky water! they dont eat it but will walk back past the fountain etc to drink out of the glug! thanks xx
Redwing
I'd say a clove to a glug but if they are happy to drink it I wouldnt be worried There is a theory it can taint the eggs but if you dont have any problems I wouldnt worry about it I have just got my hands on some liquid garlic from these lovely people http://www.thewhitechickencompany.com/about_the_white_chicken_company.html it comes in a pump bottle so thats worth a consideration if you get fed up with the cloves!
