mollyripkim
My silkies are currently in a Go with the roosting bars removed and replaced with a thick layer of comfy bed. My cube is arriving at the end of the month and now realise this might not be possible to do. So do all your bantams and silkies roost happily on the bars or do you all have a layer of bedding? After a thorough clean today I just gave them bedding in the little nest area and now feel awful as I've just checked them and then are all squeezed up in that little area. Would love all your advice and experience. Many thanks.

meezers
My silkie hen has her own little perch an inch off the ground, but for the last few months she's preferred to snuggle up in the nest box with the faverolles and silkie cockerel . mollyripkim
Thank you so much everyone. Think I will have to let them decide in th end then although I hope they will use the bars as it will be easier to clean! Will post some pictures with them when the cube is all set up.
