Pearls007
I am considering which feed to give my two girls. Since they arrived just over a month ago they have had the Omlet organic pellets (supplied by Marriages) and have scoffed thir way happily through the first bag. It would be easier for me to get the Marriages branded stuff locally - is there any difference between the two other than the packaging? AndyS
Just to confuse the issue, mine have been happily laying one a day for the last 9 months on Dodson and Horrell's Layers Pellets, and it's for sale at Pets at Home, so easy to collect. I'd recommend it.
JanTheDiver
Mine have been having Marriages (non-organic) for the last 18 months and have all been laying well on them. I would say they were the same as the Omlet ones just in a different package and probably cheaper. I pay £6.50 for a 20 or 25kg bag (can't remember the size exactly) from our local animal feed shop. jellykelly
The Dodson and Horrell ones are also available in Wyevale garden centres and have 20% off at the moment. This I have read (my wyevale don't sell them), puts them at around the £6.50 mark fo 20kg
