My cuckoo marans Countess has gone broody and will hardly leave the nest to take care of herself. She has lost all color in her comb and is quite cranky even to her best friend. I am worried about her. Her displays to the flock are interesting, but am I supposed to let this run its course? If not, what to do to snap her out of it? We have no roos so the eggs are not going to hatch. I take her out of the nest and clear out the eggs regularly. Advice, please!
