Couperman
Sony have had their Playstation 3 and Qriocity (whatever that is) servers compromised by what they describe as an 'external intrusion'. Personal details including usernames, names and addresses, dates of birth, passwords, security questions and credit card/bank details have been stolen. So if you use the same password for other online sites as the ps3 one, I would change them pronto. The PS3 networks are still down following the attack and it is not known when they will be restored. Marvellous, nice one Sony, never heard of encryption you muppets! Oh well, I guess I should cancel my bank card. Kev.
Chucky Mama
I heard this on the news. Not good enough is it
The Dogmother
I heard it on the radio too.... it's pretty basic stuff when you run a site that big to get it all encrypted. My friend who works in forensic IT (a legal hacker) is sucking his teeth and shaking his head over this.
Chucky Mama
Oh well, it is just the 77 million people that need to cancel their cards
Geoid
The Playstation Network has been down since the 23rd (I think), Sony has taken their time telling people about this. The information was not encrypted either, you fail Sony. My faith in you as a responsible company has gone.
