After a short 19 days, Effy has got chicks, again. I'll upload photo's when i can. 2 chicks are out, one is quite weak..

She had five eggs, so still another three to go.

Well done Effy , fingers crossed for the weakling and the other three . Looking forward to the pictures when you get a moment.

 

My next set of chicks are due in 7 days, so eggcitment is building here too .

Just checked on my broody and two of the 3 eggs she is on are pipping. Going to be a nail biting night here. (She is my first hen I've let sit on eggs).

Four have hatched now. Only one more to go! Two are still fluffing up, and the first 2 hatched are looking strong now.

No idea of the colours, but really pretty, and i think i have my long awaited Polish x Pekin! Fingers crossed for girls this time
