Mice in our shed!

Recommended Posts

A week back we cleared out the shed, where the food etc is stored to find our suitcase gnawed through and even our pink shades :(

We think there is still one in there though, how can we get rid!?!

Can i put powder down etc the hens and cat do hop in now and again but we can stop that if needed

Any advice!? they are disgusting!

Is your feed kept in secure containers? We had a problem with mice in our garage, including finding a mousehole nibbled into an unopened bag of mash from which it had been helping itself. Soon after we started keeping the feed stored in plastic bins, the mice went presumably as there was nothing for them to eat.

Yeah we do keep the Corn and layers pellets in plastic bins and we still have mice, although one of the lids has what looks like gnawing marks where the mice have chewed it away at the handle, but luckilly the handle is still in tact.

Saying that we havent seen any mice lately, we had 3 that appeared but two were killed and the other ran away, the only thing we've seen is mice droppings. were not entirely sure if they're new droppings or not. They've chewed some shades, suitcases and hammock so were not taking the chance again. Were going to get some traps.
