Angie
I have discovered in the last two weeks that there are new chickie keepers just a few streets away from me.They got their girlies from the rescue in York and are thrilled to bits, they are not omleteers...yet ! Also was introduced to a third who lives further up near the docs surgery by the field and she has a rooster, she is not at all worried about the noise as she is in a council house and the council gave her permission to keep the chickens and rooster... So from being an only one in my area there are others and i suspect there will be more to follow....more chickie mummies.
Plum
That's great to have others around you can blame the noise on them No I meant chicken sitting One of my end of the garden neighbours is getting chickens soon which I am really excited about but I do worry in case they set each other off making a racket. Henergy
How exciting for you. I have 2 chicken friends who I also knew before they got chickens, and one of my son's teachers homes ex-bats - but I don't know of anyone nearby location wise (yet !!) Also met another Plymouth owner via twitter who lives about 20 mins away.
